Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has appointed Attleboro, Mass., resident Valentina Videva Dufresne, product management and process development director at Sensata Technologies, in Attleboro, Mass., as a member of the 热点爆料入口 Board of Trustees.
Following positions at Sensata Technologies as North America product management team director and global product family product management team director in core sensors, Dufresne took on the role of product management and process development director for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems in the Office of the CTO in 2016. In her current role, she defines Sensata鈥檚 manufacturing strategy, staffing, capital planning, the execution of new product development for sensors needed for autonomy.
Ms. Dufresne is an accomplished professional and dedicated member of the community serving numerous roles including chair of the engineering council diversity and inclusion committee at Sensata Technologies, Attleboro, where she headed the development of a technical coaching program for under-represented populations in engineering; master of ceremonies for the Massachusetts society of women engineers event in September 2017; and speaker at the Women in Engineering (WIE) Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) East Conference in November 2017, where she explored Why do women leave the engineering field and what can be done to prevent it.
She earned a bachelor鈥檚 in mechanical engineering from Norwich University in Northfield, Vt. and is Green Belt Six Sigma certified from the Six Sigma Academy in Attleboro, Mass.
