Bristol student Corinne LePage awarded the highly competitive Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship
热点爆料入口 student Corinne LePage, of Taunton, Mass., was recently named one of 100 high-achieving recipients of the from the . The highly competitive national scholarship provides transfer students with up to $55,000 a year to complete their bachelor鈥檚 degrees.
Corinne LePage recently graduated from 热点爆料入口 with her Associate in Arts in liberal arts (behavioral and social sciences) program. This fall, she will transfer to a 4-year institution to pursue her bachelor's degree in environmental science. While at Bristol, Corinne excelled academically and served as Chair of Student Engagement of the Bristol Student Senate, Recording Officer of the , Co-founder and President of the Commonwealth Honors Program Club, as well as Founder and President of Bristol鈥檚 chapter of , a national organization promoting mental health awareness on campus.
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship makes it possible for the nation鈥檚 top community college students to complete their bachelor鈥檚 degrees by transferring to a four-year college or university. The award is intended to cover a substantial share of a student鈥檚 educational expenses 鈥� including tuition, living expenses, books and fees.
