热点爆料入口鈥檚 was honored by 鈥檚 on Tuesday, November 13, at the Gateway Cities Innovation Institute Awards and Summit, at Fitchburg State University. The event recognized six cutting-edge efforts to advance clean energy in the state鈥檚 regional urban centers, and featured remarks from Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll; Stephen DiNatale, Mayor, Fitchburg, Mass.; Dr. Richard Lapidus, President, Fitchburg State University and Dr. Luis Aguirre-Torres, Director of Financing Solutions, New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.

The complete list of 2023 honorees also included the City of Lowell, Moran Square Redevelopment, NewVue Environmental Stewards Program, Western Massachusetts E-Contractor Academy and the Worcester HEART Partnership.

The college鈥檚 , located in downtown New Bedford, is a state-of-the-art training facility equipped with cutting-edge technology, to offer all required training and certifications for the offshore wind industry. NOWI is equipped with industry-leading simulators and virtual reality technology, to ensure that workers are prepared for any situation. The institute has also partnered with Maersk Training, a globally recognized training provider with over 40 years of experience.

The works to unlock the economic potential of small to midsize regional cities. Leveraging MassINC鈥檚 research, polling and policy team, the Institute strengthens connections across communities, and helps Gateway City leaders develop and advance a shared policy agenda.
