Today we mourn the victims of the horrific tragedy that took place at Michigan State University. Our condolences and thoughts are with the students, faculty, staff, families and the entire community. When someone experiences trauma such as this they carry it with them for the rest of their lives.
We can no longer look at senseless shootings as single events that take place on a campus or community location, but as a national crisis that has a residual effect on generations to come. We must stand together to denounce violence and support each other in times of need.
We hope that you continue to find support and encouragement through the good work that we do through student life and our many centers including our student health services, LusoCentro, Holocaust, Multicultural, Veterans and Women鈥檚 Centers.
In the meantime, if you need to talk or share鈥攖he college鈥檚 counseling services have trained staff available to offer support. Please call 774.357.2760 to connect with a counselor at any of our locations or stop by the Counseling and Health Services office, located in room G211, in the Commonwealth College Center (G Building), on the Bristol Fall River campus.
I would like to share with you a message from the 热点爆料入口鈥檚 Campus Police Department.
